 Art Tip from Chris: 
When you have completely finished your tag art, one last step will give your tag art the crowning glory it deserves. Edge the sides of your tag with a gold or silver Krylon Metallic Marker.  If you are going for that shabby chic look, let your marker dry, and lightly sand back the edges.
2 thin coats of paint are much better than 1 heavy coat.
Paint 1 side of your chipboard and let dry, then paint the other side of your chipboard.
Repeat this step.
Lightly sand, and wipe off dust with a barely damp paper towel. Let dry for about an hour. You will have a super smooth surface for adding color with more paint, ink, or rubber stamping.
